The YASHICA City Series is designed to grow with you as a photographer, offering a balance of portability, performance, and creative flexibility. Positioned as a step up from YASHICA’s compact digital range, it introduces more advanced imaging capabilities while keeping the experience intuitive and accessible.

The lineup consists of City 100, City 200, and City 300, each tailored to different needs: the City 100 and City 200 feature optical zoom for clearer, lossless close-up shooting, making them ideal for travel and everyday versatility, while the City 300 shifts toward a more compact, carry-anywhere design focused on image quality, RAW capture, and creative control rather than zoom reach.

The City 100 is the most accessible entry point. Compact and affordable, it features a combination of 3x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom, along with both auto and manual focus options. Its flip monitor makes it ideal for selfies, vlogging, and everyday photography. It’s a great choice for beginners and casual users.

The City 200 takes a step forward with enhanced zoom capability and greater shooting flexibility for everyday photography and travel. Equipped with a 10x optical zoom, it allows users to capture scenes from a distance while maintaining natural image detail and clarity.

A built-in macro mode also enables close-up photography, making it easy to capture finer details, textures, food, small objects, and everyday moments from a much closer perspective. This balance of zoom versatility and close-range shooting makes the City 200 well-suited for travel, street photography, and visual storytelling on the go.

At the top of the range, the City 300 is designed for users seeking higher image quality, greater flexibility, and more creative control. Its native 50MP sensor and RAW (DNG) capture capability provide additional room for editing and post-processing, making it suitable for creators who want more control over their final image output.

The camera also features 3-axis optical image stabilization and enhanced dynamic range performance, helping users capture sharper, more detailed images across different shooting environments.

One of the standout features of the City 300 is its built-in Crop Mode system, which offers four focal length shooting options equivalent to full-frame perspectives:

  • 24mm (50MP)

  • 35mm (24MP)

  • 50mm (12MP)

  • 60mm (8MP)

This allows users to switch between different framing styles directly in-camera, creating a more flexible shooting experience without needing additional lenses. As the focal length changes, the image is digitally cropped from the sensor, producing different output resolutions while maintaining a familiar photographic perspective for everyday shooting and composition.

Across the lineup, the City Series offers a progression from simplicity to advanced control, making it easy for users to find a model that matches their experience level and creative goals.
